3 Bedroom House in Cala Serena

The Casa del Sol is located in a beautiful location in the quiet urbanization of Cala Serena, not far from the Cala Serena bay (3 minutes on foot) and near the white town of Cala D`or.
The 4x7 m pool in front of the covered outdoor dining area invites you to relax and cool off. Enjoy the peace and a partial sea view. Sun loungers and parasols are available at the pool and on the terrace. The rear terrace with access from the dining area or the kitchen also invites you to linger.
The house on the ground floor has an open living-dining area, kitchen, guest toilet (with washing machine), 1 bathroom with shower and 2 bedrooms (one of them with a safe) and is suitable for 4 people. The separate apartment on the roof terrace with bath / toilet / shower can accommodate 2 more people. The apartment is not connected to the ground floor and is reached via the outside stairs. (When arriving with up to 4 people, only the house below is opened. From the 5th Person we open the apartment above with the 3rd Bedroom).
There are 2 more loungers on the roof terrace. From here you can enjoy a wonderful sea view and sunrise.
The house has air conditioning / heating devices, underfloor heating (for the winter months), washing machine, satellite TV, WiFi and a complete kitchen equipment.
Towels and bed linen, as well as WiFi are available free of charge.

Summary: Fantastic villa, quiet location and near a lovely beach and restaurant.Villa is spacious and well equipped. The pool is a good size with space to lounge around it all day.Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Summary: First of all, the house is absolutely immaculate. Clean, everything you need and in a quiet location. We spend all our days on the veranda and in the pool. The supermarket Eroski is a 5 min drive (we rented a car) beautiful Cala Serena where we went for a swim afternoon is a 5 min walk (with a small bar with drinks and ice cream for kids) and the most wonderful Mallorcan restaurant Cala Ferrera only a 5 min walk. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and we stayed in the main house and 2 other adult family members stayed in the top flat. Absolutely perfect I would book again! Our kids (ages 4 and 6) were genuinely sad to leave.

Summary: We stayed as a family of 4 (2 children aged 3 & 7) and the villa was absolutely perfect; beautifully clean, really well equipped, lots of space and the pool was fabulous. Anja was super helpful ahead of us arriving, including recommending we hire a car - which I would say was essential as there isn’t a huge amount within walking distance. Recommendations in the guest book were all spot on. All in all, a beautiful villa which I would recommend to anyone. Our kids are already asking to go back!

Summary: If you’re looking for a great house around Cala D’or. Do not look any further.. this isTHE house. Quiet location, spotlesley clean house with all the amenities you wish for. We had a problem with a broken key and it was really fast and good solved. Wow!!

Summary: We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. A lot of thought has been put into the furnishings and equipment, which was appreciated. Everything was spotless, the beds comfortable and the whole process very easy. Our only criticism was that there wasn’t enough hot water for us 4 ladies to all have showers before heading out, but this wasn’t too much of an issue once we got the timings right and we would happily return.

Summary: A truly lovely house, very clean, neat and comfortable in a wonderful location. The house was a joy with everything you need for a very relaxing holiday - cold drinks in the fridge upon our arrival, coffee machine and the air conditioning was great when needed. Wifi available but not the fastest. We all loved the pool and different outside areas with plenty of space for our family of 4. Our teenage son especially enjoyed the basketball net and was even able to watch the World Cup on the TV. The outside eating area was ideal and we enjoyed several BBQ's. The house was in a great location with a Spar shop selling wonderful fresh bread and croissants, a friendly local restauarant serving tasty food with friendly staff and the lovely little beach all within a 5 - 10 minute walk away. The separate apartment was perfect and worked so well for our family a truly great asset to this house and the beautiful views over the sea from the outside terrace were a joy along with it being a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Cala Serena is a perfect location being a more quiet residential area and therefore very relaxing. However, Cala d'Or with all its shops, bars and restaurants was only a 20 minute walk away. We hired a car which was very easy to do and the drive from the airport was seemless thanks to the instructions provided by the owners. Good to have a car to be able to see more of this wonderful island. A very memorable holiday on this beautiful island and we hope to come back to Cala Serena again.

Summary: Thank you for a lovely stay at Casa Del Sol. The Cala Serena area is peaceful and a perfect base to explore the island which we did by car but always a pleasure to come back to enjoy the clean and well maintained pool. The restaurant Ferrera is highly recommended and only a short walk into Cala D'or for more restaurants/bars. We found Casa Del Sol to be well equipped, clean and well maintained with outstanding views. A couple of small things is it would have been nice to have more/change of towels rather than wash them half way through the week and perhaps the literature on places to visit could also be provided in English! Access to the drive to park the car would also have been useful at times (these are very minor niggles!) Overall perfect stay and highly recommended. Looking forward to visiting the island again very soon.
